Superb large silver plated Arts & Crafts bowl, made circa 1920 by The Keswick School of Industrial Arts. A very attractive centrepiece / fruit bowl with a wonderful all over hand-hammered finish. The bowl has a flat rim with a simple band of twisted rope going all around the edge. The bowl has curved sides and a flat base.It stands on three elongated round feet which each have a matching band of twisted rope around them. Sizes 10 inches / 254 mm in diametre and it stands 2-3/4 inches / 70 mm high, and very heavy weighing 640 grams. The bowl is in good overall condition with no dents, damage or repair. There is some loss / wear to the plating mainly to the underside. The underside of the bowl is stamped KSIA for Keswick School of Industrial Arts
