Fine quality Britannia standard Queen Anne silver dog nose, rat tailed spoon made in London in 1702 by David Willaum Very Important Huguenot silversmith . It has a lovely crest to the back of the stem with a good, long rat tail to the back of the bowl. The bowl is of thick gauge with very minimal signs of wear to one side of the bowl but nothing serious or distracting. The spoon weighs 78 grams and 20cm. Long. The quality is very good as one would expect from this excellent maker. The hallmarks on the back of the stem are rubbed but can mostly be made out and it is in very good condition.
