Sterling Silver Cruet Set On Stand Fully Hallmarked For London 1860 & Made By The Renowned Victorian Silversmith "Robert Dicker". The Cruet Set Is Of Extreme Quality & Once Would Have Graced The Table Of A Very Wealthy Victorian Family. The Set Comprises Of: Solid Silver Stand Which Is Fully Hallmarked. The Stand Is Highly Embossed With Scroll, Swag & Foliate Decoration. It Has Two Central Vacant Cartouches On The Main Body Which Have Never Been Engraved. The Stand Has A Lower Raised & Lined Base & Stands on Four Scrolled, Shaped & Upturned Feet. The Rim Of The Stand Is Serpentine Shaped With Raised & Overhanging Lip. It Has A Solid Mahogany Base Which Is very slightly Loose & A Couple Of very minor dings To The Upper Rim. The Cruet Set Sits Within Comprises Of Eight Cut Glass Condiments Of Which Four Have Solid Silver Tops With Matching Hallmarks. They Are All Complimented By Turned Tapering Solid Silver Finials & One Has The Addition Of A Fitted Solid Silver Long Spoon With Corresponding Hallmarks. The Remaining Four Bottles Are All Quality Cut Glass With Stoppers. Two Of The Bottles Have Cracks & One Is A Replacement Bottle. The Condiments Are Seperated Within The Stand By An Eight Division Solid Silver Divider Which Is Again Fully Hallmarked. Attatched to The Stand Is The Solid Silver Handle & Column Which Is Affixed To The Stand By Its Solid Silver Nut. Measures: 20cm Long, 14cm Deep & 26cm High. Gross Weight: 78oz (2225g).
