SOLD.........A matching pair of Sterling silver Table Spoons crafted in London 1819 by Paul Storr.These fine matching Table Spoons are of extremely good gauge and superb quality . They have been crafted in the Fiddle and Thread pattern with script 'A' to each terminal. Both Table Spoons benefit from very distinct and matching hallmarks. There is a little wear to the tips commensurate with age and usage, this is reflected in the price.

Large Silver Plated Claret Jug - Elegant Design. This beautiful large claret jug is in good condition with no chips or cracks, it stands over 12" tall and measures approximately 5" across its widest point.The underside features an attractive sunburst design rising to a solid pedestal base. The body has a crisp pineapple design over the whole surface interspersed three bands around the circumference.The rounded body is widest towards the centre and then grandually tapers towards the neck which has a fluted design.The top is hinged with a beautiful curved and scrolled handle. There is a rope twist design around the base and top whilst the knob is in the shape of an acorn. The words 'Silver Plate Italy' stamped inside the lid.A truly beautiful claret jug, sparkling on display, a super gift

A George 1V Sterling Silver and Glass Mounted Inkwell with marks for London 1823 maker John and Archibald Douglas, of square form,the shaped circular hinged cover with swivelling oval hinged thumb piece. In very good condition. 4.3cm. x 4.3cm. x 4.2 cm. This is a charming and rare piece.

RUSSIAN SILVER KIDDUSH CUP Hallmarked 1895 Solid sterling silver Kiddush cup, made in Kiev, Ukraine, Russia c.1895. It is elegant in design and is engraved to the bowl with an abstract pattern and a blank cartouche. It measures 3" high by 1 3/8" in diameter across the lip and is not weighted. It is quite substantial - it weighs 25.7g - well over 3/4 troy oz. It is in good condition with just the usual surface scratching and wear that you'd expect for its age. It is hallmarked on the side with the ?.?. makers mark (Postnikova-Loseva mark 607), 84 showing that it is 875 silver (84 zolotnik = 875/1000) and the Archangel Michael Kiev town mark. There are also two marks under the base rim.

Sterling Silver Hallmarked spoon in original box commemorating George VI's Coronation. The spoon is in excellent condition, and of good guage the box is in good condition It is clearly hallmarked Sheffield 1936/7 with a maker's mark JR for John Round. The front of the box has the wording Coronation 1937 and The Royal Crown. Sizes, approx 4.8 inches/12.2 cms in length.

Sterling Silver Hallmarked Vinaigrette by Samuel Pemberton Birmingham 1815 curved rectangular form with canted corners,engraved with diagonal fishscale decoration around a rhomboid cartouche ,the base with two bands of interwoven decoration, drilled grille. Width 2.4cm. A vinaigrette is a small box with a hinged lid that opens to reveal a pierced grill which is also hinged, underneath the grill would be a small sponge soaked in an oily sweet smelling substance. Vinaigrettes were used both by men and women and generally carried whilst travelling, to give a pleasent aroma as the streets or travelling companions could often smell badly. Inside all the surfaces would be gilded to protect the silver from staining.
