Silver & 22ct Gold Gilded Stirrup Cup of exceptional quality. This unique stirrup cup was specially commissioned from "Sarah Jones" The Leading London Silversmith. The Stirrup Cup Is Fully Hallmarked For London 1986 with makers markf or "Sarah Jones". The Cup Was Commissioned by A Leading Member Of The Hunting Fraternity in The 1980's & Was Hand Crafted Over Many Weeks To Incorporate The Head Of One Of His Hounds Which Is Executed With Such Fine Detail & Care. The Head Of The Hound Has Been Gilded With 22ct Gold Together With The Interior Of The Cup . The Cup Is Of Very High Guage Solid Silver & Is Extremely Heavy For Its Size. An Opportunity To Aquire A Unique Stirrup Cup in very good Condition. Measures: 12.5cm High. Weight: 12oz (337g) Sarah Jones is well known for her decorative silver which is held in numerous private collections including those of the Royal Family. Sterling Silver Cruet Set On Stand Fully Hallmarked For London 1860 & Made By The Renowned Victorian Silversmith "Robert Dicker". The Cruet Set is Of Extreme Quality & Once Would Have Graced The Table Of A Very Wealthy Victorian Family. The Set Comprises Of: Solid Silver Stand Which Is Fully Hallmarked. The Stand Is Highly Embossed With Scroll, Swag & Foliate Decoration. It Has Two Central Vacant Cartouches On The Main Body Which Have Never Been Engraved. The Stand Has A Lower Raised & Lined Base & Stands on Four Scrolled, Shaped & Upturned Feet. The Rim Of The Stand Is Serpentine Shaped With Raised & Overhanging Lip. It Has A Solid Mahogany Base Which Is very slightly Loose & A Couple Of very minor dings To The Upper Rim. The Cruet Set Sits Within Comprises Of Eight Cut Glass Condiments Of Which Four Have Solid Silver Tops With Matching Hallmarks. They Are All Complimented By Turned Tapering Solid Silver Finials & One Has The Addition Of A Fitted Solid Silver Long Spoon With Corresponding Hallmarks. The Remaining Four Bottles Are All Quality Cut Glass With Stoppers. Two Of The Bottles Have Cracks & One Is A Replacement Bottle. The Condiments Are Seperated Within The Stand By An Eight Division Solid Silver Divider Which Is Again Fully Hallmarked. Attatched to The Stand Is The Solid Silver Handle & Column Which Is Affixed To The Stand By Its Solid Silver Nut. Measures: 20cm Long, 14cm Deep & 26cm High. Gross Weight: 78oz (2225g).

LIKE NEW VINTAGE MATTHEW WEST & SON DUBLIN STERLING SILVER CUP & COVER. 1930This cup and cover are in very good condition, with full unrubbed hallmarks on the body of the cup and the rim of the cover. Hallmarks of very important Irish Retailers, Matthew West & Son, Dublin in 1930. There is no damage whatsoever, no dents splits or old repairs. It has never been engraved. It stands 9.25 inches tall on it`s plinth, which is made from bakelite and measures 5.5 inches from handle to handle. The base measures 4 inches diameter, it has green felt on the underside.

Paul Storr Silver Dinner Plate London 1835. A highly important and rare silver dinner plate by master silversmith Paul Storr, made for the wealthiest commoner in England, Charles Lyne-Stephens. Paul Storr is credited with perfecting silver in the Regency Period and his tremendous gift was often sought by the social elite to create high-calibre works that reflected their power and wealth. This plate is made of high-gauge silver and is adorned with a gadrooned border, two crests and a coat-of-arms representing the Lyne-Stephens family. We have a pair of these wonderful plates available. These one-of-a-kind plates possess a combination of craftsmanship and provenance that make them a fascinating piece of English history. SOLD................Very Fine and Rare set of four Silver Plates By Very Important Maker Edward Wakelin London 1755 Oval Shape with reeded and shell Borders, Engraved with a Crest and Motto Size 30cm. Edward Wakelin partner in the important firm of silversmiths Wickes (silversmiths to Frederick, Prince of Wales) Apprenticed to John Le Sage ( very important huguenot silversmith) in 1730. By 1747 he had joined George Wickes, Wakelin took over the business in 1758. Wakelin continued in business until 1777, when his son John joined the firm. John Wakelin later entered into partnership with Robert Garrard (very important maker) in 1792. This became Wakelin & Garrard 1792, who hold the Royal Appointment to this day, Wickes/Wakelins/Garrards . Edward Wakelin silver attracts huge amounts of money at auction, which makes these plates very attractive at the price. A Unique opportunity to own these important silver plates.
