A Huge spectacular Silver Two Handled Trophy Cup & Cover Trophy featuring an impressive ornate chased and engraved design. The Trophy has a wonderful finial depicting a detailed figure of a woman holding a wreath. The body of the Trophy has ornate chased foliate design, with a wreath decorating the front. There is space for engraving in the centre of the wreath and the back of the trophy has a large space of further engraving if desired. This Trophy is truly spectacular and would make an impressive statement as a prize. This trophy is in very good condition and has a full set of hallmarks. Made in Sheffield.Date - 1903. VINTAGE MATTHEW WEST & SON DUBLIN STERLING SILVER CUP & COVER. 1930This cup and cover are in very good condition, with full unrubbed hallmarks on the body of the cup and the rim of the cover. Hallmarks of very important Irish Retailers, Matthew West & Son, Dublin in 1930. There is no damage whatsoever, no dents splits or old repairs. It has never been engraved. It stands 9.25 inches tall on it`s plinth, which is made from bakelite and measures 5.5 inches from handle to handle. The base measures 4 inches diameter, it has green felt on the underside.

Fine sterling silver Gold gilded interior two handled trophy cup, fully hallmarked for Turner and Simpson 1926. This is a beautiful silver trophy cup made by the very respected firm of Turner and Simpson in 1926 - Turner & Simpson made some spectacular pieces including freedom boxes and are well known for their very high quality craftsmanship.The cup is of classical shape with a very gently curved and tapering sides to the bowl and a tapering stem leading down to a round stepped pedestal base.The cup has two handles with flat tops and sides that flow down and meet the base of the bowl of the cup at the top of the stem.The front of the cup has a large art nouveau shaped shield with no monogram / engraving - indeed the piece has definitely never been engraved.The cup is 6-1/2 inches / 165 mm high and 4 inches / 100 mm wide across the handles.The cup weighs 168 grams.The cup is in Super condition with no dents, damage or repair. The side of the cup bears clear hallmarks - lion passant, anchor for Birmingham, letter B for 1926 and maker's mark T&S for Turner & Simpson, with modern base / stand plent of space for engraving.

Britannia standard Queen Anne silver dog nose, rat tailed spoon made in London in 1705 by Thomas Spackman. It measures 7.75 inches in length and has a good, long rat tail to the back of the bowl and bears the original initials of EG to the back of the stem. The marks on the back of the stem are rubbed but readable and there is very little wear to the bowl and nothing at all serious or distracting. It is in very good condition.

A very fine pair of Solid Silver early Hanoverian Britannia standard serving spoons. They were assayed in London in 1733. The maker is Harvey Price and he was apprenticed to Jane Lambe Jane was the widow of George Lambe, a spoonmaker, who himself had been apprenticed to one of the principal spoonmakers of the period Joseph Barbutt. In very good condition considering age - Some Minor Dints in Bowl Crested on Terminal Reverse. Total Weight: 4.074oz Approx Size: 202mm long

Fine quality Britannia Silver Queen Anne dog nose, rat tailed spoon made in London in 1702 by David Willaum Very Important Huguenot silversmith . It has a lovely crest to the back of the stem with a good, long rat tail to the back of the bowl. The bowl is of thick gauge with very minimal signs of wear to one side of the bowl but nothing serious or distracting. The spoon weighs 78 grams and 20cm. Long. The quality is very good as one would expect from this excellent maker. The hallmarks on the back of the stem are rubbed but can mostly be made out and it is in very good condition.

Pewter 19th Century English wine funnel, with simple turned decoration approximately one third of the way from the top. super heavy quality. Height 6 inches, diameter at lip 4.5 inches. In good used condition. Has a few minor dents and the top is a little out of round. A nice and interesting antique gift for a wine buff.

This is a Large fine Cased Collectors Solid Silver Limited Edition Replica of the 17th Century Silver Slip Top Spoon to commemorate the 350th Anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower from Plymouth on 6th Setpember 1620. It is Number 36 in a series of 1000 which were commissioned by Bowden & Sons of Plymouth. It comes complete in its original box and certificate of authenticity which reads "This fine reproduction of a 17th Century Spoon has been hand-forged using similar methods to those used in the making of the original spoons. The slipped-stalk spoon ws simply a radical departure from excessive ornament. Many historians believe that this change was prompted by religious motives. The Assay Office stamp in the bowl of the spoon is positioned as the stamp on the original spoons. The makers mark of Bowden & Sons incorporated the St. Andrews Cross, a design which was used by many of the early Plymouth Silversmiths". It is made from a good gauge of silver and has clear hallmarks. London 1971 made by renowned silversmiths B & S (Bowden & Sons) Size: Just under 7 inches long in total, the bowl 2.5 inches long and 2 inches wide at its widest point. It weighs 60g Condition: It is in very good condition and so too is the box inside and out
