Hector Miller solid silver three-light candelabra, fully hallmarked for 1981. A superb silver candelabra made in 1981 by Hector Miller to commemorate the wedding of Prince Charles (The Prince of Wales) to Lady Diana Spencer. The candelabra is of superb quality and is beautifully designed and crafted. It has three tapered candle holders with flat round rims which are mounted onto flat curving arms. To the centre are the Prince of Wales' feathers rising out of a crown. The top of the stems have three superbly chased eagles and griffins with their wings spread, each holding a shield in its talons. The quality and detail in the chasing down to the plumage etc is superb. Below the shields, the stem spreads outwards and is superbly chased with flowers. Size 8-3/4 inches / 222 mm tall and 7-1/2 inches / 190 mm wide. Made of thick gauge silver weight 605 grams - The candelabrum is a limited edition to 400. Marked 337/400 The hallmarks - lion passant, London mark, letter g for 1981 and maker's mark HM for Hector Miller Excellent condition.

Vintage Solid Britannia Silver Bowl with feature hallmarks and cartwheel penny dated 1797. Hand Crafted by the renowned Silversmith Christopher Lawrence. The bowl was issued by the Royal mint in a very limited edition of just 200 - this is number 91The quality and weight of silver, craftsmanship and detail is outstanding, the coin is held in place by spikes which have a ship between them. Hester bateman Antique Hallmarked Silver Waiter (Salver) London 1788, with horses head Armorial crest and motto - "Nil Desperandum Auspice Deo" translates "Do not despair trust in God". It was later engraved FJWC From his godfather I.M.Barstow 5th. Set 1861 In superb condition for it's 221 years. The hallmarks are all clear except the maker's mark which has been poorly punched, but is readable under high magnification as Hester Bateman Under high magnification - please see enlarged photo's of hallmarks. Silver Plated with gold gilded interiors Condiment set in the shape of two riding boots (salt & pepper), a riding hat (mustard dish) on a spurs stand with two riding crop condiment spoons. Fine solid Silver Quaich,. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, and has the retailers name on the base, Edward & Sons, Glasgow. The Bowl is 5 inches diameter, the total width including handles is 7 inches, it is just less than 2 inches high, and it weighs 160 grams. It is very well made and in fine condition There is a makers mark next to the hallmark which appears to be "D E G E", all in circles. A very nice Quaich in fine order

This is a Large fine Cased Collectors Solid Silver Limited Edition Replica of the 17th Century Silver Slip Top Spoon to commemorate the 350th Anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower from Plymouth on 6th Setpember 1620. It is Number 36 in a series of 1000 which were commissioned by Bowden & Sons of Plymouth. It comes complete in its original box and certificate of authenticity which reads "This fine reproduction of a 17th Century Spoon has been hand-forged using similar methods to those used in the making of the original spoons. The slipped-stalk spoon ws simply a radical departure from excessive ornament. Many historians believe that this change was prompted by religious motives. The Assay Office stamp in the bowl of the spoon is positioned as the stamp on the original spoons. The makers mark of Bowden & Sons incorporated the St. Andrews Cross, a design which was used by many of the early Plymouth Silversmiths". It is made from a good gauge of silver and has clear hallmarks. London 1971 made by renowned silversmiths B & S (Bowden & Sons) Size: Just under 7 inches long in total, the bowl 2.5 inches long and 2 inches wide at its widest point. The "Manners" fork originally the property of the Rutland family of Haddon Hall was hallmarked in London in the year 1632 and is now in the possession of The Victoria and Albert museum. Sterling Silver set of four menu or place card holders, Sheffield 1993 by Mappin and Webb. They are shaped as Easter bonnets with the card being held between the bow and the crown of the hat. Each measures 1 5/8" long, 1 1/2" wide and stand 1/2" high. They are rather substantial - each weighs 21.8 grams - together well over 2 3/4 troy oz. They are in very good condition, and come in their original blue gold tooled leatherette box which is lined with cream silk and blue velvet - all in excellent condition. Each is hallmarked with M&W, rose, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark), T showing that they were each hallmarked in Sheffield in 1993. A super set of lovely and unusual menu holders - a beautiful gift for someone's table.

The stems are of a 4 sided slim shape culminating in circular bases.
